When do Washington state elementary students go back to school?

Question

Just wondering because my ex boyfriend (coward/idiot), that left me in early June plans on coming to visit me soon, like once his daughter goes back to school. I think she goes to school on the island- Oak Harbor. Yeah, I know.. why would I even want to see him.. well, because he left some of his stuff here and has some of my music music cd's.. grrr!!

The majority of schools in Washington go back the day after Labor Day. (Sept 2nd)

Sorry for your misfortune with the B/F, but sounds like you are better off without him and his extra "baggage"....not referring to his daughter, but all his issues.  Anyway, not all schools necessarily start at the same time, but here is the schedule for one Washington Elementary School (Renton, WA):

September 2        Meet Your Teacher & BBQ Day

September 3        First Day of School - Grades 1-5

September 4        First Day of School Full Day and AM and PM Kindergarten
