When do babies eye color change?

well i know pretty much that babies are usually born with dark blue eyes, and eventually turn the color they are ment to be. i was just wondering how long this took? my baby is 3 almost 4 months and her eyes are still a dark blue color? is this her eye color or can it still change? i only ask cause my cousins baby i 1 month younger than mine and her baby eyes have already changed to a light brown color.

I have four little ones and most of them had there true eye color by 8-9 months although my youngest daughters eye still change colors today and she almost 2 but she was blessed with hazel.

For most children its around 9 months -1year unless they have hazel.

It depends on the eye colour of the baby and every baby is different.  The blue is caused by babies not having much melanin in their iris so they come out a light colour until the baby gets more.  Dark eyes, like black and brown, are the cause of a lot of melanin.  And all other colours are the amounts in the middle.  Your babies eyes will have the full and true eye colour by the latest age 2.  Yes it can still change, some take longer then others.

around 6 months or so she should gradually be getting her eye color..if not wait until her first b-day and see

eye color changes in infants varies within time...kind of like that first tooth! you never know when it'll show!

My eyes were blue for a year then blue-green at 2 years then stuck to the eye color I have now which is like hazel but more green. I'm 15 now.

By about 6 months you have a better idea of the eye color but i know with my boys their eye color wasn't completely set until they were 2 years old.  My oldest son was born with gray/blue eyes and they are now blue/hazel at 6 years old (set that way when he was 2).  My youngest son was born with eyes that were so dark they looked almost as black as the pupils but they started to get lighter and by 6 months they were lighter but then at 2 years old they set in at a chocolate brown color.

yes but its rare, my eyes change from the color clothes im wearing, they also turn into pink, yellow, orange, red, and black. they're weird
