  1. Oh my. These people. If you meant rice cereal you would have typed rice cereal! I think after 12 months you can stop with formula and start with other milks. I hope this helps.

  2. If you are speaking about putting rice cereal into the baby's formula bottle, around 6 month's is ok. It helps them stay full thru the night to sleep better. Not much is needed just about a spoon full. You don't want it clogging the bottle or is too thick for the baby to swallow.  Don't be alarmed but the baby will start to gain weight..but will loose it when he/she gets moving around..

  3. rice milk? do you mean eating rice cereal? Im not sure what rice milk is, i have never fed it to my kids....

  4. dont u mean rice pudding lol

  5. Maybe you mean rice cereal? The cereal that you add to the formula or break milk (for those who pump) to give it more consistency? If so, 6 months. If the base is any thing other than breast milk or formula though, not till after a year.

  6. Rice milk?  A baby is fed on breastmilk or formula for a full year or more.  After a year, baby can be weaned to a mixed diet which can include cows milk, or things like rice milk if you prefer, as part of the normal assortment of foods.

If you are asking about rice cereal, they never 'drink it'.  Rice cereal can be fed from a bowl, with a spoon, any time after around 6 months -- though it's not necessary.

  7. Rice milk? U mean putting the rice cereal in the bottle? First of all thats lazy as h**l! You baby needs to learn how to eat from a spoon. the earlier the better. and around 4 months is what my dr told me

  8. Rice is never good for a baby. It has been linked to small/slow bone growth, mental retardation. I am not sure what rice milk is but rice has NO nutritional value at all, it is only a filler and should not be used for anything other than if a baby has a severe case of reflux. Newer drs say that babies should stay on the bottle til they are a year old but when a baby is ready for a cup they should not only be taken off the bottle but also formula (usually around 10 to 11 months). Remember though all babies are different so just let your baby tell you.

  9. Probably after 12 months, i'm guessing rice milk would be an alternative to cows milk.

Breastmilk or formula should be the only main milk drink for at least the first 12 months.

Edit...just for those who have never heard of rice milk...here is an example: http://www.tastethedream.com/products/pr...

It's a non dairy milk product.
