  1. Usually from about 6 months of age or a little more.

    I have 12 and they are only laying a few eggs a day at the moment due to the cold weather.

    Some won't lay at all in Winter.

    I usually get up to 10 eggs a day, now I am getting 0 to 3.  I have noticed a big difference in their laying habits even just in the last week as it has gotten colder.


  2. A lot only lay from spring to autumn.  Depends where you are in Sydney, if it's in the colder areas they might stop laying in winter.
