When do i a 12 year old need her own laptop for school?

i am in 6 grade and i have computer class but i was wondering do i need my own laptop and if i do what brand and make sure to keep it affordable. and should i bring it to school...will people still it? thank you

am, well where are you living? here, in ireland there are computers supplied in the school, and laptops are pretty expensive so i doubt you need to buy one for school...also i wouldnt advise bringing one to school, as it could get robbed or broken

My school has a laptop program too. You need your own laptop unless your school has loaner ones that you would like to use, but you won't be able to take it home. Check to see what kind of requirements your school wants your computer to have.

Grade 10  for taking notes. yes people will steal it if they get any kind of chance.

honey, i think the class provides the computers. a room full of them.

you wont need to bring a laptop for school until you are in college.

I live in England and i didn't get my first laptop till the start of uni. (did have PC's before then)  But really if there is a lesson were you need a computer they should be supplied for you to use.

College. You wont need a computer in high school none the less middle school.
