When do i centre a quote in english?

I am trying to do a quote in english but im not sure if i should centre the quote. What does a quote need for it to be centred? Thanks =D

  1. Only centre a quote if it is a heading or bye line.

    If quoting text you should indent, but still align left. If it is very short run it in with your text - if it is a full sentence (two lines or more) indent. If it is part of a poem, always indent.
