When do i give in my ema notice of entitlement?

I've sent my ema application today through the post so my reply will probs take ages (my fault for not doing it quicker) but aren't you suppost to hand in the ema noe when you enrol cos i've already done that. So will i be able to give it in when i've already started the course?

yes you can give it in when u start, it doesnt really matter when u give it in, its better to giv it in wen u enrol, but i didnt, and they backtrack the payments up to 28 days, so if u give it in at the end of september, ull get the whole months worth, dont worry ul be fine

There is no deadline to give your NOE as payments can be backdated (which means that they can owe you the money back). But it is best to hand it in as soon as you start college so that you can receive payments early.

When I received my NOE last year I handed it in straight away whereas my friend didn't hand his in earlier as he had trouble processing his application and as soon as he handed his NOE in he had to wait for 2-3 weeks for his payment to go directly into his bank account.
