it might be silly bcuz school is 5 weeks away, but i will need at least 3 weeks before the start of school to get on a schedule.

our school bus comes around 7, and here is my morning schedule:

wake up - about 5 mins before im awake *give or take 10 mins to be sure*

get dressed - about 10 mins

do hair -anywhere from 15-45 mins

eat-10 mins

make sure everything is in my bag -5 mins

walk down the drive way- 2 mins

our bus comes at 7 so i was wondering what time i should wake up, and what time i should go to sleep in order to be up at that time...

im 13, a girl, and going into 8th grade :]

  1. last year i was in  8th grade and i had the same schedule as you and i woke up between 5:30 and six. maybe 6:15

depends on how fast you are.

    i would say get up 5:45 - 6:00

  2. 5:30 - 6:00

But get a good nite sleep !

  3. 5:30 works.

  4. 5:30-5:45? and go to bed around 10.

  5. At about 5:30 - 6:00 you should have you alarm set for somewhere in ther this way you have about a hour and a half to wake up and get ready.

Go to bed when you tired, but not any later then 11:00 :)

  6. i don't like to be rushed when i wake up so i always wake up early. i would wake up around uh...5:45

then go to bed around 9 or 930. your supposed to get 8hrs of sleep.

  7. your schedule sounds similar to mine. here is mine for leaving @ 6:40.

    5:30: get up

5:30-5:40: watch tv to actually wake up

    5:40-5:45: brush teeth

    5:45-5:55: get dressed

    5:55-6:15: hair/eyeliner & mascara

6:15-6:17: throw some toast in the toaster

6:18-6:30: eat, take my medication, and read the paper (i'll be job hunting soon, so mainly classifieds!)

    6:30-6:35: get my shoes on

6:35-6:40: get jacket on and leave

do a trial run the day before school starts. this makes sure your schedule is perfected and you're going to be everywhere you need to be on time. you should actually walk to the bus stop and stuff to make sure you'll be there for when you plan because you're usually more tired in the morning. it sounds dumb, but i do it every year.

try and plan to get at least 9.25 hours of sleep a night (it's recommended), so you're not tired and you're up and ready to work. i know it hardly ever works, but you should try. everytime i plan to do that, i get homework i can't understand and stuff, but i try.

with your schedule, i would try getting up by 5:30, and going to bed by 8:15 if you want a good night's rest. i know it sucks to be in bed that early, but that's the amount of sleep you should be gettting. good luck!

  8. I don't like to be rushed. But I don't know you so I don't know if you mind being in a rush or not. If I were you, I would wake up at 5:45. Waking up at 6 for me would be toooo rushy for my morning schedule. And I would go to bed around 9:30 or so.

  9. I am not a morning person but I really hate getting rushed and our routine sounds about the same I give myself two hours in the morning before leaving to go to school so I'd say get up at five. Rushed mornings make me and most people pissy. Teenagers need 9 3/4 hours sleep each night according to doctors but I think most people can make it on 8, so try to be in bed by 9:30, I know that sounds early but I'm going to college and I go to bed early because it makes me feel better and look better, plus it reduces your risk for diseases. So I'd go to bed at 9:30 and get up at 5. Good luck girl and props to you for being responsible! =]

  10. sounds like about 5:40?

  11. You don't need to guess;-} you gave a pretty good estimate.

    Wake-up 5-10, washing 10, dressing 10, hair 30 (flexible), eat 10, bag 5, that's 65-70 minutes;-} so around 5:50am.

Check your bag the night before, then just pack a lunch.

Work on simplified hair-dos, finish on the bus if need be.

This means getting to bed before 10:00pm on weeknights.

  12. id say get up by 6.. and go to sleep by 1030-11 at the latest

  13. if you can take time out of things than you can wake up at 6am and go to bed at about 9:00 or 9:30(if you take a long time to fall asleep) or 10:00 if you can wake up on time.

-instead of spending 10 minutes getting dressed, you can set up your clothes for the school day and only take 5 minutes.

-leave your hair style simple unless its picture day or the first day of school.about 10-15 minutes only.

-dont eat a big meal or a small meal.if youre going to make breakfast(like eggs and pancakes) then you ave to wake up a lot earlier.so lower it to only eggs and toast,or just cereal.

-check your bag the night before and organize your work so everything is easier to find.

Do you have an alarm clock? I have a digital alarm clock that helps me wake up in the morning, its a lot easier and it goes off again after about 5 minutes.
