When do most Europeans have spring vacation in 2007. We want to avoid travelling then if possible.?

Europeans (Italians) don't have "Spring Breaks" like we do in the US.  The majority of their vacations revolves around religiuos holidays, (Christmas, Easter etc...) However their vacation times consist of the summer months especially August.  So i think if you travel to Italy within this time you will be fine.

Europeans, and Italians, don't have spring vacation. The're spring vacation coincides with Easter. Schools are closed for about 4 days (from Good Friday to the Monday after Easter which is a holiday in Italy and some other European countries). Thats when families go on a bread and take a short trip. Other than that period, you're fine.

You might want to go to Italy before Easter to avoid the crowds, especially Rome. Also, hotel prices will be cheaper before Easter, which is considered to be the beginning of high season.
