When do people stop playing tennis ,so much after wimbeldon?

It was like when England won the Rugby World Cup-Everyone was after a rugby ball etc But it soon fazed out. Same with cricket and the Ashes

At my local tennis club It was full up for 3 days after the Wimbledon final full of vile little kids lol. Thank God it wore off!

Usually that period from the beginning of the clay court season, especially that month when the French Open begins to when Wimbledon ends, is normally considered the busiest time in the tennis calender year for all players.

It is such an important time of the year for every player, that it is normally viewed as the time of the year that all players tend to build their entire schedule around. In other words they will put in all the hard work off court in order to be physically fit enough to ensure that they are able to compete at a top level during this time of the year. Also with the two back-to-back Grandslam inside of that month, there is a lot at stake for all players during that time.

Once Wimbledon ends, the second half of the season begins and most players at this point are already burnt out from having to play such a heavy work schedule during the first half of the year and especially over the last couple weeks. This is why you see a lot of withdrawals and injuries occurring during the summer hardcourt season. At this point it takes a lot out from everyone to compete again.
