  1. Totally normal.  Every kid is different.  Let her start wearing deodorant and move on.  :)

  2. Yes, it is normal, and it doesn't even mean she's necessarily getting ready to hit puberty.  Some people are just naturally more "fragrant" than others!!  : )  If you're not still supervising her bathing, start there, as others have suggested, and make sure she is not only washing, but also rinsing, thoroughly, and if that doesn't take care of it, get her some deodorant--but I wouldn't recommend an anti-perspirent yet.  It's not a big deal, and it doesn't mean anything is wrong with her.  : )

  3. you should start using roll on deodrants around 9-11, if your daughter has smelly armpits then i guess she needs to start having deodrant and shes prob started puberty early  but it might just be that she does alot of exercise

  4. Well religious zealots would say smelly armpits begin at conception.

  5. Wow! I'm 13 and it hasn't started yet!

  6. Ever go inside and elementary school? It has the distinct smell of vomit and sweat. She is completely normal! A little baby powder or mild deodorant and she will be fine. Look at it as an opportunity to discuss hygiene. It's another chance for communication and building trust.

  7. 7? She just didn't take a bath well, maybe. It usually starts at 8 or 9 years old.

  8. pretty early, but that means that she is about to hit puberty... and that is also early, 9yrs old isn't uncommon, but 7 ... geesh

  9. I though it started when god blesses there p**p,,,,

I know that everyone is different and everyone has there

own scent,,,,some people are strong some mild,,,,,,

Can we please get some parents  of girls around 3--7

do some pit smelling to see if there sent less until puberty,,

Thank you for your time in this matter,,,,,,,,,,

  10. i started at 11. since she's young dont get high odor deodorsnt.

  11. My oldest son started at 10 and my middle son started at 9.

  12. My daughter is eight and has the same problem. I think some girls start puberty very early. It does not disturb her but I have to make sure she puts on some deo every morning before going to school. We live in Mauritius Island, and in summer it gets reallllly hot and I would not like another child to make some nasty comment and hurt her feelings.
