When do students most likely take the PSAT's?

When do students most likely take the PSAT's?

10th or 11th grade.  Alot of kids take it in 10th grade right after geometry but, you can't be considered for the national merit scholarship until 11th grade.

Freshman or sophomore year because junior year is hectic with all the SAT I and II. Not to mention AP tests and IB exams.

A lot of students take the PSAT for practice in the fall of sophomore year, and then they take it to qualify for scholarships in the fall of their junior year.  Some students also take the PSAT as a freshman for additional practice.

If you are a honors student your school will like it if you take it when you are in 10th grade. Everyone should take it in 11th grade. In 11th grade if you do really well on the test you can get a scholarship.
