When do the MLB playoffs begin in 2008?

I'm looking for an exact date. Yes, I know they are in October....

  1. It'll most likely be the first week of October. They don't set a concrete schedule early, because it depends on which teams make it and where they are around the country(and/Canada). Also, if there are tie breaker games to be played, or make up (rain games) that need to be played that matter in the standings, there has to be time set for them.  But it's usually less than a week after last regular season game is played.

  3. The exact schedule hasn't yet been announced, but the playoffs started on October 3rd last year.

  6. watch the commercials on espn, tbs and fox.
