The most realistic answer to when the "world will end" is in 4.5 billion years when the suns core runs out of hydrogen and becomes a red giant.As for the human race I believe that rests in our own hands due to global warming,wars,famine,etc...

Edit:Because its quite simple when the suns core runs out of hydrogen it will begin to expand pulling us into its orbit and that in turn will incinerate earth.

There is not to many things that will cause an end to our little rock in the sky. The earth cannot just blow up there is nothing combustible to cause it to explode the core is molten iron not hydrogen we are not a gas planet. Meteors are constantly bombarding the earth on a daily basis. The real worry is asteroids and comets which once again will not put an end to our planet but would cause mass extinctions. Why would 4 billion people just suddenly drop dead?That makes no sense.

As far as god and armageddon goes each to his own point of view on that subject.

The day I leave it. And THAT day will come for each One of Us...-some sooner, some later, but Always INEVITABLY... And Once We leave this Life, what happens to the Earth isn't going to matter ANYWAY. -So what happens to IT- we'll never know. :)

My guess give or take around 2066! We will fight each other for land,money,food water, and any other resources! I believe religion will be illegal due to political elections and business ties! People who will believe in God will be feared and killed. No I don't want it to end! I would like to have a family! In a way I wouldn't like them to see this world and how it runs. I can't bear to lose my family I would rather die for them. Yes I'm scared! I want to try to do most of the good in my life before I die!

i really do believe the world ends when u diee, cuz the world ends for you, but who knows, i do have my doubts about the 2012 thing, because suppossely that year the mayan calendar ends, but i heard somewhere that it doesnt end, it jus starts again from where it originally started, idk, when i die my world will end.
