Some scientists claim that we are in some kind of mild ice-age, developing into a warmer state. So the next glacial age would be in 10.000 to 40.000 years.

Earth is becoming warmer. At this rate there is never going to be a glacial age.if it ever comes it will only occur after thousands of years.

This one we are in isn't done yet.  Go to greenland or antarctica if you need proof.  Even though the global climate is warm relative to the really cold climate of the deep glacial periods, the earth is still a lot cooler than it generally has been for most of its history.

Think of now as a kind of January thaw in the middle of winter.  Winter isn't over yet, we are just having one of those nice spells in the general cold of the winter.
