When do you get beldum in pokemon diamond before beating elite 4 or after plzzz?

i need beldum 2 beat elit 4 and what is a swarm

u get it after u beat the elite four and get the national pokedex

then u go to Dawns little sister and she will tell u were they are found(outbreaks on routes)

example:

there was an outbreak of skitty on route 213

My eleven year old son, told me that you get beldum after beating elite 4, but he doesn't know what a swarm is, hope this helps, you can also go to www.cheatcodecentral.com to get help, but it doesn't have cheats for pokemon diamond

im sorry you cant.. you only get beldum at a swarm after getting the national dex which means you have to beat the elite 4

Beldum is a swarm Pokemon, and all swarm Pokemon may only be found after you receive the Pokeradar. (Which is only available after finishing the main plot/ beating the Elite Four.) A 'swarm' is when a rare Pokemon not regularly found in the Sinnoh region becomes available for a day on a specific route. For instance, Farfetch'd becomes available randomly in a swarm on Route 221. Beldum's swarm route is Route 228.

You can figure out what your swarm Pokemon of the day is by visiting Lucas'/Dawn's house and talking to his/her little sister. (She lives in Sandgem town, the second house south of the Lab.) It's completely random, however you can cheat the system and refresh your Pokemon once by adjusting your DS clock so that the time is 11:59 PM. Go onto your game and wait until it is 12 AM, then talk to the girl; she'll tell your swarm Pokemon of the day for tomorow. (Or what would've been tomorow.) If you do this, there is a huge chance your swarm Pokemon the next day will be one you've gotten before, most likely the one she told you about before you cheated. (Like, if you got Farfetch'd before you cheated, the next day you'd get Farfetch'd again.)

You get it after you defeat the Elite 4, so I think you'll need a different Pokemon to help you out. They Swarm in Route 228. I don't really know what a Swarm is, that's a confusing part in the game. I think that when you go visit your Rival's sister in Sandgem Town says there's a lot of Pokemon in one particular spot, you can go there and find it using the PokeRadar you get at the end of the main storyline.
