There's a four lane highway with a median in front of an elementary school. The light is green and you need to go straight. There are kids crossing straight but NOT in front of you, they are off to the side (the gaurd has his sign up). Those that turn have to stop but what about those that have the green light to go straight? Do they have to stop too?

  1. That would be the safest thing to do, and there is no way you can get in trouble.

  2. You have to wait until all children are safely across the street, it is like stopping for a school bus! Because one can never tell what a child might do!

  3. You don't have to stop if the kids are crossing the other street. You'd only have to stop if you made the turn.

  4. They should stop as well........

  5. no the kids are crossing the other street.

  6. Imagine it's your child crossing the street.

    Yeah, you'd stop.
