When do you leave to start your approach for spiking?

like when the ball is in the highest point or when the ball leaves the setters hands or what? i know it depends on how high the set is, but i need help with this. thanks! 10 points best answer!

  1. I'm told to leave for the approach right before it hits the highest point but like my coach says, "late is great" so if that's too early for you wait a second and then start your appraoch.


  2. well it really depends on how quick u are but my coach told me when the ball gets to its highest point...
