When do you pull the trigger on solid players that may slip?

I'm high on few guys that will probably slip a little in the draft. Knowing when to pull the trigger is key for a solid draft. What quality players are you targeting in the mid rounds, and when do you pull the trigger?

  1. haha. remember me?...im the guy with the jay cutler question! well i'd say it depends on what value you put on the player and what what your team needs are. if there is a stud that falls through and you need that position, than of course you pick him right away. but if he is somewhat of a sleeper in my case (jay cutler) then u might want to wait. Also you have to look at the risk and reward of it, say you want to wait b4 picking your player, if there are a bunch of capable replacements than i would roll the dice, cuz if u dont get him, then you can get the replacement.

PS: i did a follow up question to the other one. Early 8th round would mean (pick#70), maybe that will influence your answer?

  2. 3 games is enough for me to pull the trigger

  3. If Darren McFadden drops to somewhere around the 5th round I'll take him, Calvin Johnson too if he slips past the 6th. Also Peyton Manning if he somehow lands to you in the 3rd go for it assuming you dont have Brady.

  4. take them wen u think u can get them 4th round mayb 5th depending on the player
