When do you put up your christmas decorations?

I was just wondering when everyone puts up they christmas decorations.I wanna put mine up asap but i know its WAY too early lol.

we have always put ours up the day after thanksgiving !instead of fighting the shopping crowds we just stay home have good turkey leftovers and put up the decorations

I usually wait until about 2 weeks before but where I live many people started putting them up crazy early. First it was the day after Thanksgiving. Then about 5-7 years ago people would decorate before Thanksgiving and "flip the switch" on their lights Thanksgiving night. Now one family I know put their stuff up the day after Halloween as a "goof". Then the neighbors on their block copied them so you had Christmas and Halloween going on at the same time---it was so ridiculous it was funny but sooooo tacky at the same time! People were driving by and yelling and cursing them. God only knows what this season will bring!!

I usually decorate for Christmas within the first week after Thanksgiving. If the weather is (unseasonably) warm, I may wait a little longer. But I keep my decorations up until after the first full week of the new year.

I can't stand these stores changing their merchandise so early. Everything in the stores is winter, while it is hot and sunny outside! I know they need to prepare, but I feel like they are pushing it.

we start putting up christmas lights up in midoctober so that we r finished by december 1.

we put up the christmas tree and the christmas decorations up on november 18 (mums birthday) its sort of a tradition

I'm from the UK, (Norwich, East Anglia) and I put mine up end of November. Though I absolutely love christmas and one year but them on second week in October lol! Don't worry about it though, if you want to put them up you put them up! I love christmas too and love having them up early. My bro leaves them up until April sometimes lol

Where I llive people had start early. If i was going to decorate outside I would do it before it get cold but don't turn them on during the night till getting close to christmas. But i won't be decorating outside this year because I am pregnant and last year didn't turn out really good. But I put the christmas tree up the day of Thanksgiving or day after because I want to get it over with and get me into the christmas spirit. But this year it be different I might put the tree up before Thanksgiving. I am expecting my baby day after Thanksgiving.

Exterior decorations are set up in mid-November, but they're not turned on until the last weekend of that month.

The interior decorations are put out during the last weekend of November.

I love to have everything ready for the 1st.

Well..I love Christmas...Last year I put my tree and decorations up around the middle of November. This year I will probably put them up the end of November (Thanksgiving night) I would put them up in October but hubby doesn't share the same thinking!!! LOL... Just have fun...put them up when you want to...don't worry about what others think!!
