Question:

When do you receive your SAT scores?

I'm technically a sophomore as I am just finishing up at a junior college.

I will be taking the SATs for the first time on October 4th. The application deadline for my top 3 schools is November 30th. Will my test scores be processed before then? Will the scores reach the schools on time?

Also, I'll need SAT subject tests. Looks like I can't take those until November 1st (can't take them the same day as the SATs!). Will those arrive in time?

I'm worried! :( Please help.

  1. Log onto collegeboard.com. It will tell you when your SAT are expected to arrive by mail and electronically. You'll receive them earlier electronically. I received my SAT scores the day it was projected to arrive.

    Hope that helped. :)

  2. Don't worry, That will be more than enough time. Plus you can opt for the scores to be sent directly to the schools of your choice. I think up to 5 or so. On top of that, if you let the school know that you took the SAT in October and you are waiting for the results, they most likely will wait for them. Remember a lot of students are applying to those colleges, so its not like your application will be processed the day you send it in. It takes months for you to receive a admission or rejection letter.

So relax and study hard~  you wanna make sure you have the best score you can make.

    Good Luck!
