I know I keep asking about my fry Angel fish, they are still all alive. I don't know how old they have to be when you start them on the shrimp brine. Could some one please tell me? I am just putting in very fine tropical fish food at the present time. Will they eat this until they start on the shrimp? Thank you any thing you can tell me about Angel fish would be gratefully appretiated..They are in a nice big filtered tank with the parents and they are being very protective of them.

  1. The fry should be fed finely crushed flake food and other small foods. They can eat daphnia and baby brine shrimp with those foods - some stores sell daphnia and BBS starter kits, or frozen in packets. They won't be able to eat full sized brine shrimp until they're at least a couple months old

  2. Angel fry need the movement of live micro foods to stimulate their feeding instinct.  Flake food does not move, without bbs you will be lucky to have a 10 per cent survival rate.
