I'm really sure I got pregnant on the 9th of this month. Last night I realized I have milk in my breast. Is it too early to have milk? It's not a lot but it's definitely there. I have been pregnant before also. Help me

  1. No you're body doesn't actually produce milk until after delivery. But you're b*****s would definitely be producing colostrum.

  2. You start producing milk a few days after the baby is born. Until then all you have is colostrum.

  3. Milk comes in after you have the baby.

  4. When you are about 6 months, your body may start to prepare to begin milk production. Usually around 7 months, you will notice "colostrum" either leaking or expressed from the nipples. This is premilk, and for some women, it does not appear until after the birth of your baby. About 3-4 days after birth, you will feel your b*****s becoming engorged. This may cause your b*****s to enlarge 3-4 times there original size, and can be hard, and very painful.

  5. I started leaking very early with my son.

I hadnt breast fed for almost a year when I got pregnant again and I was still leaking.

Especially because you have been pregnant before I wouldnt worry at all. there is no ill effects to leaking early except maybe a wet spot on your shirt!

    congrats!
