Does it all depend on how long you plan to live in a place? do you just keep paying to get what you like and want? when is enough...enough?

  1. If there are any plans of selling, keep the cost of renovations below the average value of neighboring homes. If you have a house worth $100,000 in a neighborhood of $50,000 homes, you will never get your money back. If you don't plan on ever selling, do what makes you happy.

  2. do what feels good. this is a question only you can answer.

  3. You stop when you look back and can't find another project!  lol.....but I think that home improvements are never done...you just take little breaks here and there!  : )

  4. Improvements are at your option for your benefit. If I had unlimited resources I would have a deck with overshade, shed, sprinklers, fire pit, fence, gazebo attached, festive lighting outdoors, lawn tractor with all attachments. I've got some of that already. Enjoy.

  5. What is you house worth? Improvements will help you sell it, but It is up to you as a preference as to what you like!
