Question:

When do you think Smoke will get back into an Indy car and race in "The 500"?

I know Tony tried in 2004 to hook up with AJ Foyt for the race but contractual obligations stopped him from being able to do this. What were these obligations and when do you think these obligations will change?

you people need to stop calling him fat,he is not fat!,i seen him last week,yes he is bigger than kyle bush and so on,but he could fit into and Indy car,but he has no time for that right now,maybe when he retires!

I would live to see Smoke in a Indy car again, so he could win and prove to everyone he is the most talented race car driver in the country, i would like to see him in an F1 car could you imagine Tony driving against those silver spoon drivers he would crush them for sure. GO SMOKE!!!!! lets get that 3rd title out of the way this year.

Two things are making this idea difficult to pull off. Stewart sure isn't a little guy anymore, so he'd probably have to shed a few pounds to fit in an Indycar, and there's not too many successful 40 year old Indy drivers.

I really don't think he will, he has added some things on his stats, since he has done that -like Eldora, 5 years,and 25 pounds he has a lot on his plate right now, If you do to many things you get where you don't do any of them real good and I don't Tony Stewart would want that.

WELL I HAVE HEARD THAT TONY IS TRING TO RACE IN INDY IN 2009............ THAT FROM HIS COUSIN TIFFANY I KNOW...... BUT... DEPENDS ON WHAT MOVE HE MAKES IN NASCAR TOO...... BUT I THINK SOME WHERE IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS SMOKE WILL DO A DOUBLE HEADER.....

The obligations were more likely than not driving in the Coca-Cola 600.

Right now, with how the times the races start and finish, it'd be impossible for Tony to race in both, so if he ever did, it'd have to be after Tony retires from Sprint Cup racing, unless something changes down the road.
