  1. at the very early stage.i don't think they will be able to live without a soul

  2. I imagine it gets what you'd consider a soul in the third trimester, plus or minus a trimester. This is the historic view of the Abrahamic religions.

Since abortions are generally prohibited during the third, and usually the second, I fail to see the worry of your second question.

  3. I don't know the exact moment a fetus gets a soul, it may be as soon as the sperm and egg meet up.

Fetuses(or whatever the plural for fetus is....Feti?)  have been seen to have brain activity and have body movements at very early stages of development.

  4. before conception

  5. If by soul you mean the part(s) of your brain that control your personality and the way you percieve your surroundings and those around you. I would say it doesn't develop until way after the birth of a baby.

Babies are born with the foundation of a brain that further develops in the coming years. In the first few month of life babies just sleep for up to 20 hours a day, waking to feed. In this time their brain develops further.

The actual personality is shaped by the childs upbringing and gentics. So the 'soul' takes a long time to develop!!

  6. They get their soul at conception, and they end up in limbo a place of happiness, but not heaven. Unless somehow the baby was baptized, then it would go to heaven.

  7. Assuming there is a soul...

I would assume that it gets a soul if it is known (by God and his omniscience) that the fetus will live (be born). As for when, that could be anytime. Besides, isn't it up to God to decide that?

The way I see it, if a fetus does indeed have a soul, it would probably go back up to heaven to get "recycled" for another body. Isn't it taught that the soul is eternal? It (supposedly) can't be destroyed by any physical means.

  8. No such thing as a soul.

  9. I don't believe a baby gets a soul because I have seen no evidence for the existance of a soul.

I think we are nothing more than our brains..this is why people who develop Alzheimer's lose their memories and personality.

  10. At conception.  Since they have not reached an accountable age, I  believe they go to heaven.  When King David's baby son died he said something like "I will go to him, since he cannot come to me."  David was a "man after God's own heart" even though he sinned with Bathsheba.

  11. From it's mum and dad, when they fill it's head full of religion.

  12. The soul cannot die anyhow so that's not the case...the problem is your killing it's physical being and life. You are denying it life, even though it was already created. Let's just say it's basically murder.

I don't support it, but I think in very specific situations and at a very early developmental stage it can be used, but it is a VERY VERY hard decision to make.

  13. never

  14. There is no such thing as a "soul".

  15. When that "soul" decides to come down to earth.

They go back to the spiritual whole.

  16. Nobody has ever found a soul in an autopsy.

You have to remember that this concept of a "soul" is a made-up thing. It's an idea used to express a belief or a hope.

It's a very speculative assumption to say the least.

Are there souls? I don't know, but neither does anyone else.

If your question is: "When does a Sky God breath a soul into a fetus" then this assumes so much I can't really address it.

  17. The question does not fit the case. There is no soul.

  18. At the moment it first exists, that is, at the moment of conce[tion.  Where that person's soul spends eternity is God's decision.

  19. on the third month, organogenesis i.e., the fetus gets it soul and dunno the second part. do remember to ask this to God on the judgement day!

  20. I believe they do, you will notice the existence of a soul is a inconvenient truth for liberals, to justify murder they must dehumanize the baby.

  21. When they start listening to R+B like that great music of Ray Charles. Otherwise, they'll never develop "soul".

  22. It's not shown in any Scrupture. Not in Bible, not in Al Qur'an.

So, there's no authority for when a 'soul' reaches the foetus.

Once the egg is fertilized, though, the ball is rolling.

Interference after that point all has the same result, regardless of the timing. The child dies.

Whatever the circumstances of the fertilization, the child is innocent.

    Conclusion seems obvious.

  23. Souls are just pretend.

Consciousness is just an unintended side effect of a properly-functioning brain.

  24. NO...

It doesn't even have an azz-soul.

  25. I don't really care when a fetus or baby gets a soul.

Animals have souls too; but that would not stop me from having a parasitic banana slug surgically excised from my liver (and thus killed) if it had somehow gotten lodged there.

What do I think happens to the souls of aborted fetuses? The same thing that happens to all souls, whether they're humans or some other kind of animal: Reincarnation.

And: If you're so worried about the souls of aborted fetuses, then are you also worried about the fact that about HALF of all pregnancies end in early spontaneous abortions -- that is, naturally occurring miscarriages -- often without the woman ever even knowing that she was pregnant?

And: If you think that the soul enters the ovum at fertilization, then what happens when the fertilized egg splits into identical twins? Does another soul jump in then? What if one of the twins turns into a parasitic twin -- you know, just a foot growing out of someone's shoulder? Does it still have a soul in that case? If not, then where did its soul go??

So many possible scenarios, so few consistent answers...

    .

  26. Give me proof of a soul and I'll discuss it. Otherwise this is a meaningless discussion on a word. You might as well asked when a baby gets a zoglidog! I suggest you read Wittgenstein.

  27. Medical science has claimed that after 22 days of conception in the mother's womb the foetus' heart starts to beat. I suppose this is the time too when the soul is first implanted into the foetus. So when an abortion is done the foetus is as good as being 'killed', with the soul leaving the foetus.

  28. With  the  soul  being  the  nature  of  your  spirit  it  is  shaped  and   defined   from  second  one,  on  after   conception.As  to  what  happens  to  those  souls  of  aborted  babies  is  for  GOD  to  judge  and  act  upon.I   would  say  everyone  of  them  is    saved. As    they  had  no  chance  to  make  a  choice  for  JESUS   or   the  world. The  BIBLE  defines  when  life  begins   in  many  scriptures. There  is  a  penalty   for  injuring   a  pregnant   woman  and  she  loses  her  baby.That  is  death  a  life  for  a  life.    THANK  YOU  D'S
