When do you think airlines will start hiring flight attendant again?

I've been searching for a full time flight attendant job and most of them have not been hiring lately, I guess that is due to the increase in gas price. Anyways, I want to do international flights for a year or 2 and I'm 18 and I'm fluent in English, Chinese, and I'm okay in French, and I am currently learning Dutch, Swedish, German, Latin, Italian, Arabic, Norwegian and Russian. I love languages and want a job where I can travel often and I'm studying pre-med and my major is bio.informatics/biomedical engineering.

Just keep checking the airline's careers pages. Something will eventually come up. Just be patient.

But don't tell them you only want to do it for a year or 2. Airlines invest a lot of money training crew, and want to know they're going to get a lot of years from their investment, rather than only 1 year's worth.

The airlines have not stopped hiring.  There are job postings all over the internet.  Take a look at this site and you will see what I mean:

It's too bad that the American airline companies are full of old, fat women and g*y hags (union employees I understand that).  No offense.  But if they would start hiring hot, young intelligent multi-lingual attendants like you and keep them on no more than 10 years, then people might want to fly more.

By the way, service on American carriers suck so back it is unreal. I always seem to get some 60 year old calling me "honey" as my flight attendant or the 60 year old g*y man with a bad attitude. Whenever I get a chance, I choose an Asian carrier like Korean Air or Thai Airways, or PAL. The American flight attendants are always talking about their personal life or telling me how many times they have taken the Atlanta to Orlando flight that week.  YAWN...

I am sure the foreign airlines such as Cathay Pacific or Singapore Airlines could use someone with your talent.  They should be always hiring flight attendants because once their flight attendants reach a certain age or are married, many end up doing something else.
