When do you think i should take pregnancy test?

My spouse and I are trying to have a baby. I was on ortho tricyclen and my cycle came on July 14 and then I switched to Yaz birth control and I stopped taking that after a week. I usually have a 28 day cycle but this month my cycle came on August 5 and lasted four days. Now we are trying to have a baby. When do you think I should take a pregnancy test.

You should wait to until the day you would normally start your period. If you test before you miss your period, you may get a negative, but still be pregnant.  When I got pregnant I tested on the 3rd day of missed period and I got a negative, then I tested again a week later and got a positive.  So it really depends if you ovulate early in your cycle, or later, and also depends on how fast the hcg would build up, if you are pregnant. So thats why it is wise to wait until the day you miss your period.

You are more than likely ovulating around now. the best way to find out is to buy a ovulation kit so you can track when your ovulation really is. So right now you should be gettin busy! I say to take a pregnancy test around the 1st as the earliest. When your trying to concieve the less negative preg tests the better. You dont want to keep being dissapointed.
