  1. The day after Thanksgiving.  Love the songs, but don't want to hear them when I'm shopping for Halloween.

  2. I'd say around the middle of December - 15th.  Any earlier, and it just seems silly to me.  In the end, you do what feels right for you.

  3. I would say the day after Thanksgiving.

  4. Whenever the heck the person doing the listening feels like it. There is no set date people "should" start listening to it. Though if you're getting complaints you might consider using headphones for a few days/weeks/months.

  5. It depends where you are playing it. If it is for your own enjoyment I would say whenever you want. If it is a store wait until just a few weeks before Christmas, other wise some people get really annoyed. So like December 11th....that is 2 weeks before.

  6. I think December 1st is early enough.

  7. I think December 1st is good, it gives you plenty of time to enjoy the music before Christmas arrives but not enough time to grow tired of it.  For more information, and the chance to participate in a duel about this very topic, read the page that I have written, called Christmas Music CDs, the link is shown below.

  8. Early on, when you begin to sing or hum Christmas songs. When shopping makes you start thinking about Christmas gifts. There doesn't have to be an exact date. At our home, Christmas tree and carols right after Thanksgiving just because that is usually when we make the time to start things rolling.

  9. I start the day after Thanksgiving. You are then officially into the Christmas season.

  10. well in washington, theres this radio station that starts playing it probally 1 or 2 weeks before thanksgiving. the second i hear them start playing, i start listening:) but i think u should begin listening atleast a week before thanksgiving.thats wut my family does. if u start 2 early, your cmas spirit might burn out

  11. Thanksgiving, I love christmas music and I crank it up the first day its on the radio.  But thanksgiving is a good time.

  12. Whenever you start to get in the mood for it. Some people listen to it all year around.

    I usually start around Thanksgiving.

  13. Dec 1.

  14. The day after Thanksgiving.

  15. My dear departed grandfather said Christmas music kept your heart young and he listened to it all year long. He even had his tree up until June.

I think radio stations start playing it right around Thanksgiving or after and it lasts until New Years.

  16. I think December 1st should be the earliest.  A month is enough!

Why aren't there any thanksgiving carols?  Are we all just too bloated and fat to sing?

  17. I would say around the first week of December. That's when everyone is in the 'Christmas' mood - not too early otherwise people would be annoyed.

    Good luck!
