Emma is just turned ten months old and has been crawling and cruising since eight months. She recently began taking one to two steps and standing momentarily alone. So, when do you think she will walk. She has always done physical milestones on the early side of average.

  1. My niece was doing all those things by eight months, but didn't walk independently until her first birthday. Literally, on the day she turned one she got up and walked by herself, like she could have done it all along and was just waiting for the right time.

In my experience with Angela, she has also met milestones a bit early. Now at six months she has been creeping for about a month (albeit backwards), and within the last few weeks I have found her on all fours - and sometimes raised up on her hands and feet - rocking back and forth. She still mostly rolls wherever she wants to go, but I expect her to be crawling by 7 months, if not sooner. I know my niece was not yet doing those things at 5 or 6 months, so it will be interesting to see how soon Angela decides to take her first steps.

    Good luck!

  2. The same week my daughter to took her first steps she started walking.  I'd say it took her about 3 - 4 weeks and she was an old pro.

  3. I give her a couple of weeks since she can already take a step. Could take a month but it will be soon.

  4. In another month she will start to walk for some considerable 10steps before she hits the floor with a thud with her butt. Those are way too cute for us to see. My son who is 2 1/2yrs now started to walk in one month from when he started to take 2-3 steps. So the time line might vary from baby to baby. I don't think it should take he more than 2months max. After that no stopping them...you will only keep worrying won't she sit for a whole one minute!!!!???????!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I would say within the next two weeks.  once Gracee started taking a couple steps and standing on her own.  It was like within 2 weeks and she was walking.  She started cruising at 6 and a half months and walking at 9, she was very early.  Too early!! lol.

But seriously, I bet it will happen very soon!!!!
