  1. the time for world end is depend on the God

  2. Do NOT base your speech on the Day After Tomorrow.  It is a complete work of fiction!  Whoever suggested that to you doesn't know ANYTHING about climate.

Do your research.  Realize that the Earth warms and cools on its own, that it was warmer in the middle ages than it is now, and there was no industrialization then.  Climate is not effected by humans.

"They" predicted hurricanes would get worse and more violent, but the years after they predicted it, the hurricane seasons were mild, basically throwing everything in the face of those that said it would get worse due to global warming.

Find the video "The Great Global Warming Swindle"  it is excellent and full  of scientist who know global warming is not happening because of man, or that it is really happening at all.

  3. 5 years ago , they said within 2 year we would all be dead

  4. I don't think we should assume it will end because of Global Warming.

The Global Warming that's being discussed around the world is based on something called the Greenhouse Effect.  In the past the earth has gotten warmer or cooler for all kinds of other reasons.  None of that has anything to do with the type of warming that is a concern in those international discussions.

A scientist named Fourier showed in 1824 that having an atmosphere makes a planet warmer.  A scientist named Tyndall showed in 1859 that not all gases are the same, and some cause more warming than others.  The list of those gases includes CO2.  A scientist named Arrhenius showed in 1896 that the CO2 being emitted by factories should cause the earth to get warmer .  Scientists since then have monitored both things and found that his prediction was correct.  His equation has been refined some since then, but his prediction has stood the test of time, in that the temperature is rising as predicted as the CO2 level increases.  The fuss is because the experts internationally  who work with this stuff think we are approaching a crisis point.  They think this partly because of geophysical changes that are going on, but mainly for another reason.  The worry is that in the '30's and 40's scientists realized there was a point of no return, or "tipping point" with Global Warming.  This is because there are other gases besides CO2 that cause the earth to warm, like water and methane.  Right now the earth is too cool for them to be much of a problem.  A few degrees more and both will be added to the air in large amounts.  Global Warming would increase and speed up, and there would be nothing we could do about it.  Scientists call that the "Runaway Greenhouse Effect"

We've risen about 1 degree since Arrhenius.  4 would take us past the tipping point.  What's important though, is there really wasn't that much CO2 being released in 1896.  There were no automobiles or planes.  Factories were a tiny fraction of what they are today.  Few countries were industrialized.  Besides that, many new countries are industrializing and will be adding their CO2 and speeding things up.  China, India, and all the Pacific rim countries are some.  Not all of them are doing it the same way.  Some are smarter than others.  China is doing things pretty much the way the USA did them, with little regard for the environment.  India is being smarter, following some examples set by Britain, and providing for the environmental concerns where they can.  I suspect they would do more if they had help.

Now let me tell you somethings that it is NOT about

It is not about ozone.  Not the "ozone layer", not the "ozone hole".  There was a problem involving ozone in the 70's but it was effectively dealt with.  Ozone will be affected, like everything else, but nothing more than that.

It is not about American political parties.  It is an international issue.  We all breathe the same air.  As the Bible says, "The rain falls on the just and the unjust alike".  Democrats seem to like the newer term "environmentalist" when they talk about Global Warming and other environmental issues.  Republicans have always used the term "Conservationist".  It means the same things, but from the point of view of taking care of what you have, and using it wisely.  If you studied Theodore Roosevelt you know he set up the National Parks System, was a strong Conservationist, and a Republican.

It is not about the year 2012.  That comes from people into the paranormal, mysticism, UFO's and things like that.  If you asked a scientist about it they probably wouldn't know what you were talking about.

It is not about weather, or predicting weather.  That's Meteorology, not Climatology.

It is not about climate changes on other planets.

It is not about sunspots, or the solar cycle.

Scientists did not "forget" to include things like the natural Ice Ages, or the 11 year cycle of Sun Spots.  I'm not that stupid.  You probably aren't either.  I really doubt they are

I'm going to give you some links about many more things it is NOT about that people talk about.

There is one final thing Global Warming IS about, and it is very sad.  The issue is fast becoming a conflict between the economic "haves" and "have nots" in this world, in some places an armed conflict.  The countries that have been industrialized for a century or more enjoy a high standard of living compared to those just now starting.  Besides Global Warming, half the people on earth lack an adequate water supply or food supply.  Things like refrigeration and pumps for wells would probably benefit some of them.  Some people in the industrialized world have said they would rather see all those people die than give up a single luxury.  Another reason is that there are many people who have become fabulously wealthy by keeping us using some of our oldest and most polluting technology.  Petroleum is an example.  Those people are in conflict with the people who want to get away from technologies that pollute, rather than sacrifice whole populations of people to stick with them a little longer.  That includes all the people concerned about Global Warming.

  5. Surprise the others by saying that human involvement in global warming is a lie and that the earth goes through cycles where it warms and cools. 40 years ago, scientists were tell everyone of a coming ice age and we only had 20 to 25 years to go. Scientists DO NOT know what they are talking about.

  6. Well ever seen the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" well that movie is kinda factual so that could be a start.

  7. Sun will burn out eventually billions of years from now. For more scientific reasons, go to www.globalwarminghappens.com

  8. Global warming is one-half of the climatic cycle of warming and cooling.

The earth's mean temperature cycles around the freezing point of water.

This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.

Our planet is currently emerging from a 'mini ice age', so is

becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).

As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat 'conveyor' which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).

When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.

It's been happening for millions of years.

The worrisome and brutal predictions of drastic climate effects are based on computer models, NOT CLIMATE HISTORY.

As you probably know, computer models are not the most reliable of sources, especially when used to 'predict' chaotic systems such as weather.

    Global warming/cooling, AKA 'climate change':

    Humans did not cause it.

    Humans cannot stop it.

  9. duuno?

  10. Eventually our sun will incinerate the earth.

    That's real global warming.

  11. It won't end because of global warming. The earth has had natural increases and decreases throughout time. It has survived them all and will again. This slow increase now is seen by the scientific community as simply a natural occurrence.

  12. The world will not end. But the time before the earth will heal itself will be too long for us humans to wait for.

Civilizations may end but I'm convinced that even if the worst possible scenario would occur (which I don't believe in) and we don't change our ways of emitting greenhouse gases, there will still be humans around hundreds, probably thousands, of years from now. Maybe just a very low number but there will still be people who find their ways to survive.

Edit: It's incredible how a certain person here always manage to confuse the facts. It's indeed "alarmism" to claim the world is going to end  2012, but that doesn't come from people who believe in global warming. (In fact, if the world where about to end 2012 there would be no use of trying to limit global warming at all, it would be too late).

Also - Cancer? What has that got to do with global warming??? Maybe she among many others who hasn't learned the basic facts ties global warming to the hole in the Ozone layer? Which is two completely different issues.

Edit2: Tuba, you deserve 10 points for that answer!

  13. You have got to be kidding...  Alarmists can't even predict the weather tomorrow, next week, next year or even the next decade, why it is so cold, how CO2 is even tied to global warming and why Gore had to lie in the first place, yet you want them to predict when the world is going to end?

The fun never stops in these questions.  I hear 2012; at least that is what I read in some alarmist's submissions.  Since they have all the answers, I might as well refer to them.  I am guessing that they are referring to the Aztec calendar which runs out in 2012 simply because they ran out of room.  lol  Good luck in your quest.

By the way...  Alarmists should love this one....  Skin cancer rates have declined here, in Scotland, England and many other countries....  I wonder why?  LOL

  14. Shortly after this mass hysteria leads to World War III.  Let's just sanction and/or invade China and see what happens, shall we?

  15. Well, not for millions or billions of years.  This so-called global warming is more natural than the scientists are letting on.  The premise of the whole "global warming scare" is to get the world to start using alternative fuels, which is a good idea.  But the business behind this scare is to tax the worker and consumer so they don't have to pay as much for R&D and have bigger margins.

The expansion of the sun will ultimately cause the planet to warm and eventually boil, then the world will end because of global warming.

  16. dont think it will be the warming as such, but the contant rise in temperature is causing the world ocean currents to change this is a amazing system where the fresh water and the salt water constantly rotate around the globe to keep every ocean at the right temp, when this changes, everything changes, people think we are all going to burn to death but we will freeze. every time an iceberg melts this changes the currents flow and eventually the land will sink and a new Ice Age will be upon us. This could take many thousands of years though and i think WW3 will destroy earth before that anyway!

  17. Well, the effects of global warming are supposed to REALLY appear in about 50 years...but it would be another couple hundred before the world would actually end ( I think) but there's a really awesome video that the Discovery Channel did on the subject- I'm sure you can check it out at the library :)

  18. The scientist DO know what they are talking about, it is the people who talk about it who create these obscure ideas.  The fact is that the earth does go through cycles. These are caused because the Earth 'wobbles', that is that the axis is not at a fixed angle it changes over very long periods of time.  This can be seen over relatively short periods of time though.  We are simply transitioning to a warmer part of the cycle.  For example at the turn of the 21st century Niagara falls was frozen.  Another example is the painting of Washington crossing the Delaware. Also the consensus of most scientists is that CO2 is not causing global warming, the global warming is causing higher amounts of CO2.

  19. because of global warming.. the glaciers all over the world are

slowly being melted making the sea level rise..

they estimate that about 200ft of water will be added to the sea level flooding and submerging parts of the country and small islands that are countries...

also..the ozone layer that protects us is slowly being opened and now the sun's harmful UV rays enter our world causing heat stroke and skin cancer that can kill us!
