I agree, I also though it was obscene when Bush referred to gas being at 2.50 a gallon.....and hes an oil man

I don't know when they last pumped they own gas, but the same could no doubt be said of Bush, McCain, or anyone else on the Republican side.

I think that at least Obama knows what normal people go through---but at the present there is not much that can be done.  Drilling oil off our shores is not a short term solution, plus, according to a newsreport last week, most of the oil found would be exported and not benefit the Americans.  Right now oil prices went down bit, hopefully it'll go down more---but it is to show us that OPEC can kill our economy if they want to, and that we, who depend so much on oil(and charcoal), should have done something to make energy less dependent on oil 20 or 30 years ago...
