As you see, the F1 track is coming up in Delhi. It might either be a street race or at a closed circuit in Greater Noida. Only this track can and will be eligible for hosting the MotoGP and talks are going on. Ducati is playing a key role. When do you think the first race will be held?

  1. I have to agree with Wiggysan. the Noida track will be up and running by 2010. possibly included in the F1 programme by then too. but that does not mean it will be Bike friendly. the Gravel traps as Wiggysan also points out are a big question. although I think tracks are now moving in the longer runoff areas.  Unless this is taken into account when they plan the track. MotoGP wont be going to India for a while yet.  just a matter of time though before it does.

  2. there's a plan according to which it shud b setup by 2012... but as we all kno, the given dates r nevr kept.

  3. may be by year 3008...

  4. It might not be for a few years yet.

It wont be a closed street circuit, that I can 100 % say.

The Noida track will be the only play, but they need to make it super safe for the bikes. Bumpy gravel traps are banned for bikes, so we will see how it goes.
