When do you use a sports car?

I am looking into buying a sports car but what kind of activities are they generally used for. Are they used just to go to work and come home, go to the supermarket, go crosscountry, go racing in an enclosed area? Can someone please tell me the ways that they are generally used?

theyre used for driving around and showing off to everyone that u have a nice looking sports car. also good for street racing

c'mon man are seriously asking that question, if you can afford drive yuor sports ride everywhere, you might pull up to an anoying *** honda and leave him in the dust. If you need to get somewhere quick with no pressure, your ride is there.  Buy your self a little fourbanger for the grocery shopping or little trips around the house.
