  2. i'm pretty sure you never say El gusta. You say le gusta. El is used in the subject and Le in the predicate.

    Example- Nosotros le gusta arroz.

  3. You rarely use: el gusta, because is a too formal phrase. (Meaning he likes....something)

    Is more common and casual to say: a el le gusta, and you are saying, he likes....something.

  4. You wont use el gusta, but "le gusta" you would use if for instance you're talking about someone "a Carlos le gusta la playa" meaning Carlos likes the beach. or still talking about Carlos and the other person knows you're talking about Carlos you could say

    "le gusta la playa"
