I'm 17 and I was just wondering when parents stop giving there kids more then one gift for Christmas. I would also like to know how it stops, do the gifts decrease little by little or do multiple girts stop when you get out of high school or get married.

  1. Im not sure, my brother and I still get a couple of gifts from my Mom and Dad.

  2. My mommy and daddy will NEVA stop givin me presents!

  3. This is such a sad question. Well my brother is a guy and is 17 and he just gets what he asks for. My sister is 21 and she gets not a lot really becuase she traveled abroad for college and spent a ton of cash. I get whatever I ask for. (About 15 things and I was 13 this past x mas.

    HAPPY EARLY X MAS!!!!!!!

  4. When they die.  Then you feel guilty for being such a selfish brat by asking about how much you are going to get and realize their presence in your life was present enough.

Hey God, speaking of commandments, what were the three missing ones?

  5. i get the same amount of presents every year : )

  6. Depends on your parents.

There is NO set of rules about gift giving, especially at Christmas.

  7. My parents ask me what I want so I tell them what I need and that's what I get. I'm 29.

  8. it never stops. unless agreed upon. I think it is high time for U to get presents for THEM at Xmas time.

  9. my parents never stopped and ill be 29 by christmas.

  10. my parents never bought for me, maybe as a small child, but not once i was a teen. they always bought for my kids though. i'll never stop buying for my kids.

  11. Hmm... I think it decreases slowly.

My sister is 25 and my parents still bought her several gifts this year.

Then again, she's a spolied brat. lol

I'd say once you move out, the gifts will probably narrow down to just one or two.

    Kinda Stinks... No More Christmas.

    =(

  12. why would they? what are you implying?

  13. HONOR THOUST FATHER AND MOTHER. IT'S ONE OF THE COMMANDMENTS. THIGH FORGET WHICH ONE. IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE THIGH CREATED THEM AND MOSES SCARFED THEM OFF MT. SINAI.

BUT ANYWAYS, BUY THEM PRESENTS, BOZO. THERE IS NO COMMANDMENT THAT SAYS HONOR THOUST KIDS.

  14. Depends on your parents, and how much grief you put them through during your college and 20-something years.   Stay out of trouble, no DWIs ie, don't waste a lot of their money, and you're sure to get many gifts for plenty of years to come.
