When does GA get to see the Perseid meteor shower?

I live in Monroe County GA, and I don't know when or what time to see the Perseid meteor shower.

  1. The meteor shower is about the same time for everyone. August 12th - 14th after the moon sets is the best time to see. Astronomy magazine says August 12th at 1:00 A.M. until sunrise is the absolute best.
