  1. My baby has been head down since I think 24 weeks (we saw it on the ultrasound).  I'm now 35w5d and she's 3/5 engaged.

  2. My daughter was engaged 1/5 from 32 weeks.

With your first pregnancy the baby should be head down before the 36th week or else he/she wont have the room to turn and they will give you a ceasar section. with 2nd/3rd pregnancy etc the womb is already stretched from #1 and so there is room to turn down the back to breech then down again right up until birth.

once the head starts to engage the baby cant turn breech but can spin into the posterior position.

  3. Your baby will go into position anywhere from 33-37 weeks.  Just depends on when your baby wants to.  They say there are ways to get your baby in the right position, but I don't know how true they are.

  4. It really varies - I've been told if baby hasn't gone head down by 38 weeks it hasn't got space to turn anymore. Saying that both mine were head down (most of the time!) from pretty early on, definitely by 30 weeks.

  5. depends whether this is your first pregnancy or not.......with our first he was head down at 30 weeks...and stayed that way...although some babies can turn........most babies go head down from 36/37 weeks on....

  6. when he feels like it
