When does a bad boy settle down?

People can't change them, so what does? Is it when they hit rock bottom? Do they just get worn out from partying? When they do settle down, do they feel bad about the mistakes?

Some "bad boys" never settle down.  they end up in jail or dead.  Some "bad boys" settle down after something major happens.  They have a kid or an accident to shake their foundation.  Mostly, they lose steam over the years and realizing their peers no longer support their "bad boy" ways, they grow out of it.

when they realize that they are being stupid... usually when someone they are close to dies or comes close to it

They dont. Maybe until it gets them into big trouble or they get hurt. It may be a phase they might get a wake up call and realize what they SHOULD be doing. Otherwise, it's most likely what they want to do. Probably dont feel bad if they had fun doing it.

Why pursue them?  Psychologically, it is because you want to be the one who tames them.  This means YOU want to be the one who changes them.  This means you aren't getting involved with them... you are getting involved with who you THINK they can be in the future.

Date people for who they are.  If you want to date a bad boy, do it with the expectation that he will always be a bad boy... because it is very possible that he will always remain a bad boy.

A bad boy will settle down for only two reasons.

1. No matter how fun being a bad boy (or a player is) a lot of guys just get over that stage. Because as fun as it is....they lack something that makes them want to commit.

2. A female messes them up, plays the game better than them. This happens a little less often than the first one. But it's very possible...
