  1. Put up personal pictures of your family and friends. Add some homey touches, and wallpaper that suits you. Make scrapbooks, and hang them on the walls. Fill your apartment with a warm color palette, it has been known to make any home feel more comforting. Spray a scent you really love everywhere, so you can come in from work and just say, "Ah."

Invite some people in your apartment complex over for dinner. Home is a place where you have friends and memories. If you don't have either, it's just a room.

You have to enjoy your home. Spend more time there, and add personal touches of you. Play music that you really like all the time- get an activity you can do alone and do it.

Hope this helps, and that you can finally start to feel at home.

  2. Develop strong family bonds with your family. You can organize a panic , an outdoor activity with them or just plain shopping.Just do anything to achieve that strong bonds.

  3. you need a baby to have a home, you should have a baby.

  4. YOU cannot.  Things make up a house.  Attitudes make up a home.

When you are into your new life, and smilling, your house will

tippy tap itself into becoming a home. Like love, don't rush it!

  5. Throw a few parties and have some lovers over. U need to start making memerories there before becomes home right?

  6. you just have to inject some of your personal flavor into the place.

    make it uniquely you.

  7. You could buy plants/furniture or decorate to make it seem more like home. You could also invite friend around for a meal or just to hang around.

I think it will seem more like home once you have made some good memories there.

    have fun

  8. get to know some of the people around you and make the place comfy and relaxing.

  9. Spend TIME there.  If you're just using it as a place to shower, change clothes and sleep and running around like crazy so you DON'T have to sit still, well, you won't feel like it's a home, ever.

Light some candles.  RELAX.  Learn to enjoy your quiet time. Trust me.....it takes some getting use to.  When I was first divorced and the kids were gone to their dad's;p the worst noise in the WORLD was the silence I heard. Who would've thought silence could be so loud??  Oh...but it was.  If you need to talk - email me or IM me.

Keep adding personal touches.  Start a wine collection.  Have a glass of wine. Read a book. Play all the music you always wanted to but no one else wanted to hear!  (Remember you have close neighbors tho)

    Best of luck!

  10. put pictures of people you love in it then youll feel more at home since your used to being around people
