Question:

When does a new car loan appear on your credit report? After making the first payment?

I drove a car off the lot, but never finalized the loan with the 30 day warranty period. I returned the car back to the dealership. Will pulling the car off the lot be reported to my credit history or will it not show anything at all because I had not even made my first payment?

  3. It depends how often the loan company files reports with the credit bureaus.  Most do it quarterly ( 4 times a year ).  Hardly anybody does it monthly anymore - a lot of paperwork involved.

  4. -you drove a car off the lot

    -you never finalized the loan

    I don't understand your question?

  5. It won't show up on your credit report yet.  You have to have a debt for 30 days and then it starts showing up.

  6. It should really save you some money to just get an auto loan price on the web to verify what todays rates are.  You might be totally happy.  Also if your credit is not the best, a lot of online loaners are more willing to work with people.

What I most often tell folks is that an online quote at http://auto.lowratetoday.com is worthwhile.
