When does a regular hooker become a high class hooker? Is it possible to make the transition if you're ugly?

My friend and I were talking about the Spitzer girl and started debating the 'high-class hooker' tag. When does a hooker become a high-class hooker? Does she have to be of a certain level of attractiveness to qualify as one? How do you go about getting this job? Is there an exam you have to take to get 'high-class' status in the street elite? All input (and smartass comments) greatly appreciated.

These girls are very pretty, dressed to the nine, treat you with repsect (when you get this expenisve its not just about s*x, its the 'girl friend experience'.  These girls like someone else said are either working for themselves or a madame, and probably all paying taxes on their income.  THese girls are working through college or trying to support their own children or really just love the job rather than street walkers and lot lozards who will do anything for the next drug fix.

This person is going to have a high repuation in the escort community.  She is very discrete and never whispers.  She goes to a doc regualarly and has no std and complete bill of health.

If you want to be one of these girls, all you have to do is make youself that pretty (ugly people can be pretty and s**y as well) and look for an in to the community.  You have to have a great personality too.  When people spend that much money for an escort, its not about the s*x at all its about the click, having discussions, ect.  Basically they are paying for a best friend with benefits.

Id call earning $5k an hour pretty high end if not exactly class. The only way this is going to end is if it's legalized and women start making minimum wage on it. the only reason women do this because we're stupid enough to pay instead of going to strip clubs.

Also, these women are self operating without pimps. when they work for madames they are still considered high class.  low end hooker who has to use a pimp  is still a ho.
