When does a richmond shop card expire??

Last year my Grandpa got me a gift card from richmond centre for my birthday which i can use for pretty much any store in the mall. I still have about $30 left on it, but not sure if its expired already....i got it last year in march. Im pretty sure i can use for over a year just not sure exactly tho

If it has an expiry it should be the in fine print on the card.  

They are in the process of passing a law so gift cards wont have expiry dates in Canada.
