  1. if you mean when will a woman first start ovulating, its when she starts having her periods. If you mean each month, then it is usually around 14 days before her next period

  2. When she starts her menstral cycle. (her  monthly period).

  3. 10 to 16 days prior to the start of your next menstrual cycle (start of your period) is when ovulation occurs. This is the Luteal Phase (from the start of your period until ovulation is the follicular phase).  It is not possible to know for sure when ovulation will occur from the beginning of the cycle unless you know your own cycle. Some people always ovulate on the same day every cycle while others can ovulate on cycle day 10 one month and cycle day 25 the next! The luteal phase usually is consistent from month to month regardless of how long the overall cycle is.

Using ovulation predictor kits (OPK) and basal body temping can help you more accurately determine when you ovulate. You are most fertile during the 3 days prior and the day of ovulation... so keeping track of when you ovulate can help greatly. A + OPK gives you a 12-48 hour warning you are about to ovulate, so recording your results each month will show you your own pattern so you can utilize all your fertile days instead of just the 12-48 hour window an OPK will provide. Basal body temping will only confirm ovulation by detecting a temperature rise that will stay higher after you ovulate and will lower again at the start of your next cycle. But temping will show you the trend over time so you can plan for the next cycle if you are fortunate enough to have a consistent cycle each month.

Here is my own chart from a great website that has helped me understand my own cycle. It clearly shows a temperature shift at ovulation as well as shows my + OPKs prior to ovulation:

  4. it ranges from day 10 to day 16. just need to keep monitoring it.

  5. Abt 14 days after your 1st day of period, based on a 28 days cycle. Depend on your cycle days. If it's a shorter or longer one, you just divide the number by 2. The number is the day of ovulation.

  6. You start ovulating when you start your menstrual cycle.  It usually occurs about two weeks before your period starts.

  7. 12-16 days before the start of your next period.

  8. usually half way through her cycle
