  1. beer and wine coolers will go bad. unopened wine will store for years under the right conditions. spirits will store forever if you put the cap back on them.

  2. Beer, wine coolers, and other carbonated alcoholic beverages will go bad or 'skunk' after a few months or so.  It's not a good idea to let the temperature vary by much on these drinks either.  Liquors generally have an unlimited shelf life, but again, you should avoid temperature extremes, and always put the cap back on tightly.  Liqueurs and other sugary or cream liquors will start to lose their flavor after several months, but are still good for about a year, until they begin to curdle or get thicker.

  3. Some wines, and vodka have a date when they will taste the best, some wines also like to stay old, sometimes they will spoil, but some taste better the older they are

  4. As long as everything is sealed- it will last forever. Doesn't matter what kind of alcohol it is. But it would be best if the bottles haven't been opened yet.

  5. If unopened Beer, wine, malt beverages (alcopops), and liquors may expire, but they will never go bad. That is to say there is NOTHING in them that will harm you if you consume them after expiration.

Higher quality beers and wines can be aged for decades.

Cheaply made beers, wines and alcopops will begin to develop off flavors after the expiration, lose carbonation...but they will never harm you.

Liquor unopened will last almost indefinitely regardless of quality.

Opened liquor will suffer a small amount of alcohol evaporation... this is so minor that you will never notice the difference. It will remain drinkable to decades even after opening.

    For the record:

I collect and age beer. I currently have over 250+ individual bottles in carious stages of aging...yeah for those keeping track it went up...I went shopping.
