When does babies hair stop falling out

how old will a baby be before there hair quites falling out...my baby had so much hair when she was born and now she is almost 4months and her hair still is falling out and her hair is really thin now when will her hair start growing back

It will stop falling out when she's bald, and has no more hair to lose ..

I guess it would be the generic answer, every baby is different :) but if it helps any, my daughter was born with a head full of hair and it didnt start falling out til 4 months, now it is falling out like crazy (she is 4.5 months), she has had blonde hair growing in underneath (black hair at birth) since about 3 months, the black is falling out, and the blonde is still coming in ast the same time.... she still has a good bit of black hair left though, but it covers her blankets and the neck of her dress/onesie she is losing so much!

It is supposedly due to the hormonal changes after birth..... I breastfeed my daughter so maybe that is why it ook a while to start falling out, I got my period back at 3 months and thats when it started falling out.

It should start coming back in once she is sitting up more and spending more time on her tummy.  It falls out because she is laying down a lot and rubbing her head and the friction causes it to come out.

My son is 1 month old today and he is losing his hair as well. I am sure it will stop soon, but not sure when.

Seriously, though, if you are concerned about the health of your child, you should talk to their pediatrician, not some random yahoos on th internet.

Well when my brother was born, he had a head of blonde fuzzy hair, but since my dad had dark hair which is obviously the dominant trait, his hair fell out and eventually he grew thick dark hair instead. I'm sure your baby is fine its just a part of development.
