When does basketball usualy start in high school..and are the varsity and freshman tryouts held together?

like tryouts and the first game and stuff and do the freshman tryout with varsity and jv or is it seperate

try outs usually start in Late October, early November(about the time when the NBA season starts.)

varsity,freshman,and junior varsity all have try-outs the same week but on different days!!

In Washington Nov 1 is when you can start playing. If your school have Three teams the the freshman and Sophomore try-out then the junior and Senior tryout and then the players are assigned to the teams.....

You must practice 15 days to be able to play in a game

Only freshman can play on the freshman team, the other teams are up to the skills of the player and coaches
