When does bullfighting season start in seville, spain?

i'll be travelling to spain towards the end of march, beginning of april, and wil be in seville, valenica and barcelona. i would like to see a bullfight while i'm there if the season is on, can anyone tell me when the season begins, and maybe where i would buy a ticket from? thanks !

During the April Fair. Officially, but the first fights are march 28...

The Fair begins Apr 26 at midnight this year, and runs through May 2.

You don't need togo out of your way to buy tickets.  You should be able to pick them up at the box office...just bring cash.  They don't take credit cards!  It was the ONLY place I went to last summer that wouldn't take a credit card! I had to run around trying to find an ATM that would take my card!

I think we paid 10€ for "sol" seats.  We sat under the awning, right next to the band.  it was EXCELLENT!  (not sunny at all!)
