  1. It's Not How Much You Drink, It's How Fast You Drink It!

As a general guideline, most adults need about three quarts of fluid each day. Much of that water comes from food, so 8-12 eight ounce glasses a day is a common recommended intake. The bottom line is this: it's possible to drink too much water, but unless you are running a marathon or an infant, water intoxication is a very uncommon condition.

When too much water enters the body's cells, the tissues swell with the excess fluid.

  2. My doctor said to divide your weight in half; and that would be the number of ounces of water to consume daily.  He said that if you drink more than that, you must be sure to take a Potassium supplement daily (at least 200 mg) to replenish the potassium you lose daily through your urine.

You know that the more you drink, the more you have to potty.

Water is extremely good for hair, teeth, skin, and fingernails.

  3. most people would urinate before it got to a dangerous level

  4. its how fast you drink it, you need to be able to urinate and keep it flowing through ur body, i wouldnt try drinking 2 gallon in under an hour

  5. It is several gallons before you drown yourself from the inside out
