The little laughs and eye contact isn't really considered cheating.

But once you start calling each other and hooking up.

Then it's a problem.

In my opinion, flirting is cheating. The purpose of flirting is to try and get somebody to make a move.  While it can be harmless fun, it also doesn't draw the line anywhere, and could get some people very confused.

I don't think there are hard and fast rules.

However, I do think that if you had to ask, you already know that you are going too far.

- a peck on the lips

- a passionate hug (rubbing/ groping)

- making sexually suggestive comments

- being overly touchy feely (stroking backs, holding waists, holding hands etc)
